I look at Luke's account in his Gospel and in Acts 1. Why it was important that as well as seeing Jesus risen, the apostles saw him ascend into heaven. Jesus answer to their question and the modern misuse of the book of Revelation as a timetable of Christ'a return: "It is not for you to know ... but you will be my witnesses ... to the ends of the earth!"
